Recalls the importance of the common agricultural policy (CAP) in terms of the budget and of its legacy to the history of the Union; recalls that the CAP is still one of the most important and most integrated policies, which ensure food production and food security in all parts of the Union and that it will continue to contribute to building Europe’s future;
