Emphasises the negative effects of association agreements on the economies of ACP countries; takes the view that the new partnership will need to be based on developing the countries’' productive capacities, completing the most advantageous regional integration processes, protecting traditional, small- scale agriculture, and combating land grabbing, the privatisation of national natural resources and public services, and over- exploitation; stresses also the need for adequate funding of national health systems, enabling universal access to sexual and reproductive health, lowering child mortality and improving maternal health;
