Stresses that, by using agricultural waste, the bioeconomy can help to reduce the environmental impact of farming, in the form of emissions of greenhouse gases and pollutants into the air, soil and bodies of water, and can also contribute to the more efficient use of resources; highlights the importance of support under the second pillar for the introduction of technology making it possible to use agricultural waste with a view to an efficient agricultural sector as part of the circular economy;
