Highlights the fact that the pandemic has demonstrated the need to accelerate the green and digital transitions of EU industry towards a more resilient and inclusive economic and industrial model; stresses also that the EU’s dependence on hydrocarbons limits its capacity for political action; calls for the diversification of energy supply sources;
