Is concerned that unemployment rates in the EU remain relatively high (December 2014, EU 28: 9.9 %), and draws attention to the considerable differences between Member States, with the lowest unemployment rate being in Germany (4.8 %) and the highest in Spain (23.7 %); stresses that growing divergence in and between the labour markets of Members States could potentially lead to the undermining of the solidarity within the Union;
