Highlights the quality and relevance of the work of the European Institute for Gender Equality but stresses that in order to adequately strengthen its capacity to assist the Commission by providing relevant data and technical assistance on priority areas such as combating gender based violence, more staff and resources need to be allocated to the Institute;
