Asks the Member States and the Commission to improve transparency as regards pricing conditions and service performance (delivery options, final delivery, reliability), especially when it comes to e-commerce; stresses the importance of affordable cross-border delivery prices in closing the gap between domestic and cross-border prices; calls on the Commission to explore why prices on some cross-border routes are higher in one direction than the other and to come up with measures to eliminate such differences;
