Calls on the Commission to establish as quickly as possible a global strategy to prevent the rvaluate the effectiveness and impact of the ongoing EU Strategy for Combating Radicalisation and rRecruitment of European citizens, taking into account all vectors of radicalviolent extremisation, on the basis of the exchange of best practice within the European Union and the evaluation of measures undertaken in the Member States, including the February 2015 Washington Summit on Countering Violent Extremism; takes the view that the Commission should develop an intensive communication strategy on preventing the radicalisation andspread of violent extremism and the recruitment of European citizens by terrorist organisations; recommends for this purpose the significant implication of civil society organisations, religious or not, which are holding experience and expertise to prevent the spread of violent extremism.
