Attaches the highest importance to Articles 33 and 34 of the Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities — CRPD— (‘National implementation and monitoring’) and to the United Nations Committee’s concluding observations 76 and 77, and accordingly welcomes the approval given by the United Nations Committee to the European Parliament’s presence in the independent monitoring framework;
