Amendment 90 #
Proposal for a regulation
Recital 12
(12) A broader membership of the EURES network has social, economic and financial benefits. It improves efficiency in service delivery by facilitating partnerships, enhancing complementarity and quality improvements. It increases the market share of the EURES network insofar as new members make available job vacancies, job applications and curriculuma vitae (‘CVs’). Transnational and cross- border co-operation, which is a key feature of the operation of the EURES network, could generate innovative forms of learning and co-operation between employment services, including on quality standards for job vacancies and support services. The EURES network would therefore enhance and consolidate its relevance as one of the key Union tools available to Member States and the European Commission for supporting concrete measures towards a high level of employment within the Union.
