Welcomes Al-Jisr project on EU-GCC Public Diplomacy and Outreach activities supported by the European Commission which has proven to be immensely beneficial; encourages in this regard the HR/VP's services to envisage expanding public diplomacy activities in a region where the EU is still not clearly understood and mechanisms to overcome this deficit are limited; stresses the importance of developing a better communication strategy including the need to explain EU policies and positions in Arabic so that it reaches a wider audience in the region;
