Stresses the need to make use of the possibilities that the Digital Age presents us with in order to fully reach gender equality; notes that in order to empower women in political and economic terms as well as to close the digital gender gap access to digital education must be provided from the grass-root level; notes that access to internet and skills to use ICTs enables women and girls learn about their own rights as well as to participate in modern society on equal grounds with men which in turn boosts economy and increases overall wellbeing;
