Highlights that the ambitious early revision of the MFF must not lose sight of the fact that we are witnessing a degradation of human rights standards in the neighbourhood and beyond which deserves particular attention in the context of the revision of the MFF as does the fight against climate change, the importance of connecting the Common Foreign and Security Policy to the EU Arctic Policy, measures to counter global disinformation, priorities in the framework of the High Level Geopolitical Dialogue related to the Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, as well as humanitarian aid;

3 a. Emphasises that the European Defence Fund is a crucial instrument for further harmonisation of the defence activities of the European Union; calls for an increase of appropriations in capability development which reflects priorities in Common Security and Defence Policy.
