Insists on more democratic legitimacy, accountability and scrutiny of the Union economic policies; stresses for the framework, institutions and tools for EU economic governance to be under the Community method; calls for any Treaty revision to grant the Parliament its role as co-legislator and democratic oversight in these policieand monetary policies of the ECB, and enhanced accountability and transparency arrangements of the ECB, including access to the minutes of the Governing Council by Members of the European Parliament on the same premises as Members´ access to SSM documents;
