Urges the Commission and the Member States to step up financial support for the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure; notes the relevance of priority-setting in the next MFF; calls on the Member States to acknowledge the positive effects of fiscal incentives for the market up-take of alternative fuel vehicles, as demonstrated by the practice in the Netherlands and Norway.
