Takes the view that the TDI system has to take into account the legitimate interest of European economic operators including those who need to take advantage of global supply chains to have access to competitively priced raw- materials and tie-in products to stay competitive, components and products to complement their domestically produced or sourced product range to stay competitive and, at the same time the TDI system must take into account consumers who are entitled to choice based on price, design and quality;

Takes the view that AD and countervailing duty measures applied by the Commission should take the alternative form of quotas or tariff-quotas when this is deemed appropriate and that a phase-in or phase-out system similar to the one implemented in the footwear case is put into operation in new cases involving products suitable for finalconsumer consumption;
