Urges all relevant actors in the European Parliament to ensure the comprehensive and swift implementation of the 2017 EP Resolution on Combating sexual harassment and abuse in the EU; considers that it is the duty of the European parliament to ensure a zero tolerance towards sexual harassment and to adequately protect and support the victims; calls in this respect for: – a task force of independent experts to examine the situation of sexual harassment and abuse in Parliament; – an evaluation and if necessary revision of the composition of the Parliament’s competent bodies to ensure independence and gender balance; – mandatory training for all staff and Members; – a clear timeline for the comprehensive implementation of all the demands of the resolution;
