Believes companies should conduct a compulsory open tendering process for statutory appointments of external auditors every eight years, on a renewable basis; notes that for SIFIs thisCalls on the Commission to ensure that shareholders exercise their right to appoint or re-appoint the statutory auditor; considers that this decision should be based on a proposal from the Audit Committee; believes that there should be greduced to every four yearsater transparency around the decision to appoint or reappoint the statutory auditor;
