(121) The specific nature of movements of pet animals represents an animal health risk which deviates significantly from that of other kept animals. Specific rules for such movements should therefore be laid down in this Regulation. In order tocontinue to be governed by the provisions already adopted. This will ensure that pet animals do not pose a significant risk for the spread of transmissible animal diseases, t.
