Regrets the lack of agreement in solving the blockage of the Appellate Body of the WTO, which materialised on 11 December 2019, and welcomes the initiative taken by the EU and 16 WTO Members to develop a temporary multi- party interim appeal arrangement that will allow the participating members to preserve a functioning and two-step dispute settlementsystem at the WTO in disputes among them; notes that the interim arrangement is a good step to overcome the current crisis; while encouraging a long-term solution including as many member states as possible; notes the Commission proposal for revisions to the Enforcement Regulation, commits itself to speedily find a position on the proposal;
