StresseConsiders that the European semester shouldcan support the Union’s effort to achieve the Union’s 2030 climate objective and climate neutrality by 2050 at the latest; calls therefore on the Commission to assess the discrepancy between the structure of the Member States’ budgets and by ensuring fiscal stability and an investment friendly environment; a Paris-aligned scenario for each stresses that any changes to the of their national budgets; thus European Semester must not water enabling the Commission to down its original purpose; provide recommendations on Member States’ climate debt and climate-friendly investment gap associated to the Union’s 2030 objective and the objective of climate neutrality by 2050 at the latest;
