Calls for an extension of the deadline within which each national parliament or each house of the national parliament may send a reasoned opinion to the presidents of the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission, in which it states why it considers the draft in question to be incompatible with the principle of subsidiarity. The deadline should be extended from eight weeks to six months.
