E. whereas the European Child Guarantee is a high-quality and innovative policy instrument with the potential to deliver significant improvements to the everyday reality of millions of children in the EU in a multidimensional way; whereas more needs to be done to achieve a more comprehensive, inter-sectoral approach to tackling children’s risk of vulnerability and to ensure genuine implementation by removing the policy, political, administrative and financial barriers and guaranteeing the effective take up of rights;

Calls on the Member States to involve all relevant stakeholders at all levels in the revision and implementation of their NAPs in order to build solid partnerships that can strengthen and expand ownership and commitment; highlights the importance of involving civil society and children in developing and implementing the monitoring and evaluation framework; Stresses in this respect the important role of the European Platform on Combatting Homelesness in sharing experiences and policy recommendations in the fight against homelessness.
