Stresses the need to significantly increase the budget of the European Environment Agency to provide sufficient financial and staff resources to enable full implementation of the European Green Deal and its related policies, such as all the monitoring and foresight obligations coming from the 8th Environmental Action Programme or the reporting and monitoring from other nature or energy related legislation;
