Underlines the need for the Union to develop its technological sovereignty through the enhancement of industrial defence capabilities, in particular in emerging disruptive technologies (EDTs), and theat common defence projects have always been founded on transnational cooperation; rejects any drift towards federalism in this area, as envisaged by the Commission; stresses that Member States should not have their technologies and research protjection and resilience of critical infrastructurs jeopardised by the Europeanisation of industrial defence bases;
