Highlights that in order to ensure success in defence of EU values, appropriate financial support should be established to civil society organisations which defend the democracy, rule of law and fundamental rights both at national and regional levels, as provided in the proposal of the Regulation on the Rights and Values programme, as well as overall support be given to individuals reporting breaches of the EU values.
