Welcomes the Commission’s commitment to adopting an action plan to implement the European Pillar of Social Rights; underlines the need to ensure gender sensitive rights using an intersectional approach in line with Principles 2 and 3 of the Pillar; calls on the Commission, to that end, to develop and include a Gender Equality Index in the European Semester to monitor gender effects of macroeconomic policies as well as of the green and digital transitions.
