Reiterates the potential of energy communities and micro grids to develop accNotes that COVID-19 has contributed to the intensification of energy poverty in the EU and as the crisis continuess, to more sustainable energy, especially for remote areas, islands and the outermost regions; he proportion of the energy purchase costs in households’ budgets will grow sharply stresses therefore that it is important to develop a common definition of energy poverty and monitor the energy poverty rate subsequently;
