Notes the geopolitical impact of Russian aggression against Ukraine and the resulting increasing need for the Union to mobilise partner countries around the world and build global alliances around Union priorities; highlights the importance of constantly investing in strong political engagement and leverage at bilateral level, as well as in public and cultural diplomacy to promote Union's values, principles and interests, and in strategic communications to combat disinformation; calls for the strengthening of the Political, Press and Information sections in EU Delegations, ensuring they have sufficient and adequate level of staff, expertise and financial resources to help deliver on the Union political priorities;
