Considers that carbon farming can be a new business model which should be additional and voluntary, and which aims to upscale climate mitigation by paying farmers to implement climate-friendly farm or forest management practices, though without any change in land use, by tapping into the potential of blue carbon ecosystems and by streamlining the industrial use of carbon sequestered for different purposes;
