Underlines the need to adapt to the new reality in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic and to reflect on a new model for the EU’s urban areas, which considers their role within the wider regions in which they are located; highlights, in this regard, the importance of developing comprehensive strategies which incorporate the various strategies and policies being developed at European level, such as those arising from the European Green Deal, the European Digital Strategy and the long-term vision for the EU's rural areas;
