Emphasises that the global nature of the COVID-19 pandemic requires a global response; highlights the vulnerable position of women and girls in many parts of the world in relation to COVID-19, such as access to healthcare, including SRHR, vulnerability to sexual and gender-based violence, including FGM and chilearly and forced marriage, employment status, access to education and extreme poverty and hunger; underlines the importance ofdemands strengthened supporting for women’s human rights defenders and women’s rights organisations, including SRHR organisations; emphasises that all efforts must be made to ensure that a future vaccine will be available to all women and girls, particularly in remote rural areas, in refugee and displacement camps and on low incomes;
