EU strategies and fisheries (a) Stresses the need for greater integration of the CFP into Community strategies in order to avoid conflicting or non-synergistic measures; (b) Highlights and shares the fears of operators in the fisheries sector over the significant reductions in fishing areas imposed, not without inconsistencies, by the Nature Restoration and Biodiversity 2030 strategies; (c) Draws attention to the objectives of the Integrated Maritime Policy and the ensuing need to strike a better balance between the various economic activities relating to the blue economy, particularly as regards maritime spatial plans;
