Calls for adequate resources for the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) in view of their new tasks; underlines that the ESAs should continue to increase their efficiency without compromising on the quality of their work with a focus on continuous re-assessment of working methods and of effective and transparent use of human and financial resources; highlights the importance of promoting diversity in all forms, including gender balance, particularly at management level in the ESAs; emphasises that the ESAs must stick to the tasks and to the mandate assigned to them by the European legislator;
