Reiterates that supporting SMEs and mid-caps must remain a fundamental objective for the EIB, notably to assist them with decarbonisation and access to ICT tools; welcomes efforts made to provide online assistance and counselling to SMEs in accessing EIB lending; reiterates, moreover, that the EIB should further strengthen its support for micro- enterprises, especially in this time of economic crisis, including through cooperation with National Support Banks and local banking networks;
