Stresses the need to promote the consumptionuse of sustainably sourced goods by introducing and promoting the use of a labelling and certification system for deforestation-free products imported into the EU and incorporating the deforestation- free aspect into EU trade deals and other multilateral agreements; notes that some labelling schemes (such as FSC) exist in some countries; is of the opinion that however a ubiquitous system would help both increase awareness and have a quantitative view of the trends globally;
