3a. Stresses that the EU’s industrial strategy must have into special attention the challenges of the outermost regions to have access to the internal market, in accordance with the article 349º of the TFEU. Reminds that the external economic dependence, additional costs due to remoteness and insularity, reduced size and small markets, concentration of activities in some sectors and high level of unemployment, affect negatively the economic and social development of these regions;
