Takes note of the rolUnderlines that there can be both advantages and disadvantages to the development and use of AI in eGovernment; is concerned that AI risks reinforcing existing discrimination, inequalities and social exclusion and misidentifying or incorrectly classifying individuals belonging to certain groups; calls for effective remedies to be put in place including human checks, effective complaint mechanisms as well as transparency regarding the use of AI in eGovernment, while preventing discrimination due to automation and improving the quality and design of datasets;
