Regrets that, since 2014, the implementation of the CFP has primarily focused on the environmental aspect of this policy, as a prerequisite to and at the expense of socioeconomic and food security considerations; considers that the resulting negative impacts on the fishing sector have been exacerbated since Brexit, the energy crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, and that these negative impacts continue to increase and have become unsustainable due to recent international geopolitical developments;
