Welcomes the adoption of a revised BCommission broadcasting Communication; asks the Commission, howev of July 2009 and calls on Member States to implement its guidelines in order, to further clarify the criteria for the financing of public service broadcasters, with a view to preventing market distortionmaintain a balance amongst the digital media services on offer, to ensure fair competition between public broadcasting and private media and thus to preserve a high quality media environment in online services;
