Suggests that a European policy be introduced for the standardisation and certification of equipment as regards safety, comfort (noise, vibrations, etc.), network interoperability (‘busways’, tram- train, etc.), accessibility for people with reduced mobility, soft transport and clean-engine technologies (buses, taxis, etc.), on the basis of a carbon audit and on a technology-neutral basis;
