Calls on the Commission to propose such an instrument as soonsiders that the protection of geographical indications relating to non- agricultural products requires careful analysis, in view of the interplay between existing rights held at European, national, local or sectoral levels, and other provisions as possible, once it has conducted an impact study;t European level which provide consumer protection against misinterpretation of this kind, underlining the need for robust analysis before bringing forward such a proposal
