Stresses that the EU shipbuilding industry has the potential to increase its contribution to growth and employment by exploiting the opportunities arising from demand for ‘'clean ships’' (increased energy efficiency and reduced SOx, NOx emissions) and vessels and structures suitable for the construction, installation and operation of offshore wind farms;
