Calls on the Member States to use existing EU-level funding resources, such as the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs scheme, to support initiatives pursuing links with businesses, ands well as those that offering entrepreneurship education to low- income young people, school dropouts, young people in danger of long-term unemployment and young people with disabilities;

4. CUrges Member States to develop the spirtit of entrepreneurship among young people from an early age by providing opportunities for company internships and visits, so as to to give them an overview of the business world; calls on the Member States also to improve the entrepreneurial culture within tertiary education by establishing the conditions to support the creation of new companies based on academic research (spin-offs), reducing the bureaucratic burden involved in establishing such companies and promoting the benefits of commercialising research;
