(11a) The application of the good practices recommended by the NEPSI social partners’ agreement on ‘Workers Health Protection through the Good Handling and Use of Crystalline Silica and Products containing it’ is a good way of supporting, in addition to regulatory measures, the effective implementation of employers’ obligations as set out in Directive 2004/37/EC on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work.
