9. while welcoming the Commission’s aim to reduce the Union’s dependence on energy from third countries, firmly rejects its proposal to give Member States the possibility to deliver up to 12,5 % of the EAFRD through the Recovery and Resilience Facility to support investments under the RePowerEU chapter; recalls that the CAP cannot be used as leverage for all the new political objectives of the Union and that it must continue to fulfil its mandate towards farmers to ensure our food autonomy.
