Proposes to launch a pilot project on Social security card to investigate the benefits of introducing, and – if appropriate – to make available, a forgery-proof European electronic document containing professional and social security details of the worker; as a foundation for the pilot project and to establish the necessary knowledge for the pilot project the Commission should initiate a comparative analysis on the different social security systems within the EU-28;
