Calls on the Member States and the Commission to involve social partners (trade unions, gender equality bodies and NGOs) in the realisation of gender equality, with a view to fostering equal treatment; stresses that the areas covered by social dialogue should include the monitoring of gender equality practices at the workplace, and the promotion of flexible working arrangements, with the aim of facilitating the reconciliation of work and private life, and the monitoring of collective agreements, codes of conduct, research or exchanges of experience and good practice in the area of gender equality.
