Believes that longer-term CCS support should be derived principally from the production and import of the fossil fuels responsible for the release of CO2; calls on the Commission to propose the introduction from 2020carry out an impact assessment of a system requiring the purchase of CCS certificates proving the storage of CO2 in proportion to that embedded within their products;
