Maintains that an assessment needs to be conducted as a matter of urgency to gauge the social consequences of, and determine how women’s lives are being affected by, liberalisation measures in sectors essential to social progress (transport, energy, water, postal services, telecommunications, etc.) and urges the Commission to halt further liberalisation processes for as long as such an assessment has not been produced;
